Role: Client Representative, Design Manager, Project Manager and Superintendent. Responsible for design, documentation and delivery of the BAS upgrade.

The Crown BAS Upgrade was developed as a 5 year master plan to upgrade and future proof the complete system after 15 years of site operation. This included the installation of a new Ethernet which would allow the system to operate on a virtual network in lieu of a typical cable network.

Works Included

Preparation, review and sign-off of Front End Engineering Document (FEED)
Installation of a new 2.2km Ethernet that interconnects to all data hubs located within the complex;
Installation of new data gathering panels and cutting over of existing system onto the new Ethernet;
Cutovers and testing between existing and new controllers;
Development of new functional description and control strategies to incorporate an energy reduction masterplan.

Cut-overs and works taking place in 24 / 7 facility.
Testing of plant and equipment in an operational facility.
