Role: Client Representative, Design Manager, Commissioning Management and Sign off.
As part of the complex wide upgrade a review and update was carried out of the integrated air conditioning systems that serve the gaming floors that have approval to allow cigarette and cigar smoking ;
Briefing, engaging and managing consultants to meet project expectations;
Benchmarking new systems against both local and International facilities of a similar standard;
Independent reviews and verification;
Prototyping and testing of systems prior to the installation to ensure that they met expectations and anticipated performance;
Preparation and initiation of standardised commissioning testing regimes;
Standardising of regular air quality and equipment testing;
Preparation of equipment specific maintenance regimes to ensure that the plant and equipment linked to smoking gaming rooms are well maintained and regularly
inspected for performance;
Liaise with internal health and safety representatives including presentations and workshops to wider staff;
Ensuring integration of systems with gaming tables, slot machines and architectural design;
Presentations to executive board level for sign-off and endorsement.
Highly sensitive project within the organisation;
Ensuring continuity of operation of gaming floors during the works and post completion;
Spatial requirements for upgraded equipment;
Major infrastructure upgrades required to meet increased thermal and electrical loads.
