SUMMARY

SPMG were engaged by Hickory during the last 6 months of the delivery phase of the project to oversee the co-ordination and integration of all services on the project. Hyatt Centric Melbourne features 280 guestrooms and a restaurant inspired by Melbourne’s local foodie scene. Interestingly the site is fully compatible with the “World of Hyatt” app. The app provides contactless digital check in and allows room preferences (lighting, temperature etc) to be updated before arrival. ​

CHALLENGES

To allow operation of this system a Converged Network was installed within the site connecting >1500 devices. Co-ordination of this system along with commissioning management of Mechanical (BAS), Electrical, Comms, Security, Hydraulics, Fire and Lifts was also completed in conjunction with Hyatt and the building owner Little Projects​​
