SUMMARY
SPMG were engaged by Schiavello at the commencement of the project to oversee the design management, contractor engagement, co-ordination and integration of all services on the project. The 23 level hotel with 290 guest rooms and 70 suites has undergone a complete, multimillion-dollar refurbishment of all areas. The upgrade includes updated rooms, suites and fitness, conference and events, and food & beverage outlets. The works include new mechanical and hydraulic plant and equipment, electrical services, lighting, in-room technology and controls.
WORKS INCLUDED
Oversee, provide visual leadership and drive the delivery of the Design Development, Construction, Commissioning, Testing and Handover for the integrated services on the project
Provide technical overview for the project on behalf of the builder
Negotiate and oversee the letting of trade packages
Design Management and lead the services team to close out all services design queries and coordination issues related to the base build, as all documentation transitions into Issued for Construction and sign-off
Contractor coordination and integration of services to ensure the systems are delivered in a manner suitable for final testing and commissioning
Lead Commissioning, integration and Testing meetings
